Squeej (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the squeej.ai platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We wrote this in plain English on purpose.
When you use Squeej, we may collect the following:
Squeej includes an AI assistant that helps shops and customers during the ordering process. Over time, the assistant builds a shop profile based on your conversations and preferences — things like your go-to garment brands, typical pricing patterns, and workflow habits. This profile helps the assistant give better, more relevant suggestions.
You can request that this profile be reset at any time by contacting us.
Each Squeej shop runs its own Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other agent platforms to place orders on your behalf and look up the status of orders you previously placed. This section explains how that works and what data flows where.
How a connection is made. The first time an AI agent talks to a Squeej shop on your behalf, you go through an OAuth 2.1 consent flow. You sign in to the shop with your email (the same magic-link code you receive for normal orders) and grant the agent permission to place orders on your behalf and view your order history with that shop. The consent screen lists exactly what permissions are being granted. The agent receives a token tied to your email and the shop you authorized. You can revoke this token any time by emailing the shop or by emailing us at support@squeej.ai.
What data the AI agent sees. When an agent calls a Squeej shop's MCP, the agent sees only what it needs to fulfill the request — garment catalog entries, color options, your name and email, the orders you have placed with that specific shop. The agent does not get access to other shops, other customers, the shop's pricing matrix, the shop owner's dashboard, or any data the shop has marked private. Tokens are scoped to one shop and one customer.
What the AI platform sees. When you have a conversation with Claude (or another agent) and it calls Squeej on your behalf, the agent platform processes the conversation according to its own privacy policy — see Anthropic's, OpenAI's, etc. The agent platform sees the request and response of each tool call (e.g. "list of garments returned by Squeej") because that's how it knows what to do next. We do not control how the agent platform stores or uses that data; we strongly recommend reviewing the platform's own privacy terms before connecting.
What Squeej does NOT do with agent conversations. Squeej does not see the contents of your conversation with the AI agent — only the specific tool calls the agent makes against our endpoints (e.g. "create_order with these parameters"). We do not use anything you say to an AI agent to train Squeej's AI assistant. We do not share agent-tool data with other shops or third parties. We do not pass any of this information to advertisers; Squeej does not run ads and does not sell data.
Revoking access. You can revoke an agent's token at any time. Once revoked, the agent immediately loses the ability to call the shop's MCP on your behalf and must repeat the consent flow if you want to reconnect. Tokens also expire automatically after 90 days; refreshing them silently requires the agent to still be in possession of the original refresh token.
White-label note. Each shop on Squeej runs its OAuth and MCP at its own canonical domain (e.g. landslideprinting.com), not at squeej.ai. The shop's name — not "Squeej" — appears in the consent screen and the agent's tool calls. Squeej is invisible infrastructure; the customer's relationship is with the shop.
We do not sell your data. We do not run ads.
We use the following third-party services to operate Squeej:
Each of these services has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We also use localStorage in your browser to save preferences like your selected garment and interface settings. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
Order data and customer records are kept indefinitely so shops have a complete history of their business. Chat logs are retained to improve the service and provide context for ongoing orders. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.
You can:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@squeej.ai.
Squeej is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, row-level security in our database, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform.
