Squeej (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the squeej.ai platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We wrote this in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

When you use Squeej, we may collect the following:

Account information — names, email addresses, and login credentials for shop owners and their customers.
Order data — garment selections, sizes, quantities, artwork files, shipping addresses, and order notes.
Payment information — payment details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Chat messages — conversations between customers and your shop through the Squeej ordering interface.
Garment preferences — preferred brands, styles, and pricing that shops configure in their settings.
Artwork files — images, logos, and design files uploaded during the ordering process.

The Squeej AI assistant

Squeej includes an AI assistant that helps shops and customers during the ordering process. Over time, the assistant builds a shop profile based on your conversations and preferences — things like your go-to garment brands, typical pricing patterns, and workflow habits. This profile helps the assistant give better, more relevant suggestions.

You can request that this profile be reset at any time by contacting us.

How we use your data

To operate the platform and process orders.
To provide AI-powered suggestions for pricing, garments, and workflows.
To send transactional emails — order confirmations, magic link logins, quote notifications.
To improve the service and fix bugs.
To provide customer support.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Squeej:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
Vercel — hosting and deployment.
Anthropic (Claude) — AI features and the shop assistant.
SS Activewear — garment catalog data.
SanMar — garment catalog data.
Google Gmail API — email integration for shops that connect their Gmail account. We only access email threads related to Squeej orders. We do not read, store, or share the contents of your inbox.

Each of these services has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

Cookies and local storage

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We also use localStorage in your browser to save preferences like your selected garment and interface settings. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Data retention

Order data and customer records are kept indefinitely so shops have a complete history of their business. Chat logs are retained to improve the service and provide context for ongoing orders. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Your rights

You can:

Request a copy of your data — we will provide an export of your orders, customer records, and account information.
Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Update or correct your information through your dashboard settings.

Children

Squeej is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, row-level security in our database, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform.
