Embroidery generally adds 1–2 days versus screen printing because of digitizing. Specialty garments (dye-sub, performance fabrics, niche brands) often need additional time for the blanks to ship to us.

How fast can My Print Shop turn around a rush order?
My Print Shop's standard turnaround is standard 10-14 business days, and rush options are available for time-sensitive projects. Actual timeline depends on quantity, decoration type (screen printing vs. embroidery vs. heat transfer), garment availability, and how complete the artwork is when you submit. Send us your details for a same-day rush quote.
What counts as a rush order?
Anything tighter than our standard production schedule. If you need apparel for an event next week, a fundraiser this weekend, a launch in three days — that's a rush. Tell us your deadline and we'll tell you what's possible.
How much does rush production cost?
Rush fees depend on the deadline and complexity. Most rushes are a percentage uplift on the base order — the tighter the timeline, the higher the rush fee. We quote rush fees explicitly so there are no surprises. For very tight deadlines we may also need overnight shipping, which is billed at cost.
How do I request a rush quote?
Three ways: (1) Submit through My Print Shop's website with your deadline noted; (2) Ask Claude or ChatGPT to place a rush order — see our AI ordering page; (3) Call or email us directly. Whatever path, include the quantity, garment type, deadline, and a rough description of the artwork. Quotes typically come back within hours during business hours.
Can you do rush orders on every garment style?
Rush is gated by garment availability. The fastest rushes use blanks we have in stock or that ship from local suppliers — common Bella+Canvas, Gildan, and Comfort Colors styles are usually rushable. Specialty styles, dye-sublimation, or international-only garments take longer because the blank has to ship to us first. Ask before ordering and we'll be honest about what's possible.
What about rush embroidery?
Yes, embroidery rushes are possible. Digitizing the design (turning your logo into stitch instructions) is usually the bottleneck — if you have a previously-stitched file (.emb, .dst) the rush is faster. Plain text embroidery is fastest of all. Tell us what you need.
What's the latest I can place a rush order for a specific date?
Rule of thumb: 3 business days minimum for screen printing in-stock blanks, 5+ for embroidery, 7+ for specialty garments. We'll always tell you honestly if a deadline is tight — and if it's impossible we'll say so right away so you can make other plans.
